Szechuan Tofu & Green Bean Stir-Fry

Here's a recipe for Szechuan Tofu & Green Bean Stir-fry:

Ingredients:
- 1 block of firm tofu, cubed - 2 cups of fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into bite-sized pieces - 2 cloves of garlic, minced - 1-inch piece of ginger, grated - 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons of soy sauce - 1 tablespoon of hoisin sauce - 1 tablespoon of Szechuan sauce (adjust to taste) - 1 teaspoon of cornstarch, dissolved in 2 tablespoons of water - Optional toppings: sesame seeds, chopped green onions

Instructions:
1. Start by pressing the tofu to remove excess water. Wrap the tofu block in a clean kitchen towel or paper towels, place a heavy object (like a plate) over it, and let it sit for about 15-20 minutes. 2. In the meantime, prepare the sauce by combining soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and Szechuan sauce in a small bowl. Set it aside. 3. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the cubed tofu and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes, until it turns golden brown. Remove the tofu from the skillet and set it aside. 4. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. 5. Add the green beans to the skillet and stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes, until they become tender-crisp. 6. Return the tofu to the skillet and pour the prepared sauce over it. Stir everything together to coat the tofu and green beans with the sauce. 7. In a small bowl, dissolve cornstarch in water to create a slurry. Pour the slurry into the skillet and stir well. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens. 8. Remove the skillet from heat. Serve the Szechuan Tofu & Green Bean Stir-fry hot, and garnish with sesame seeds or chopped green onions if desired. Enjoy your homemade Szechuan Tofu & Green Bean Stir-fry!
