Malva pudding

 Here's a malva pudding recipe:

Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour - 1 cup white sugar - 2 large eggs - 1 tablespoon smooth apricot jam - 1 teaspoon baking soda - 1 tablespoon melted butter - 1 cup milk - 1 tablespoon vinegar For the syrup: - 1 cup heavy cream - 1 cup white sugar - 1/2 cup water - 1/2 cup butter - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a baking dish. 2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until creamy. 3. Add the apricot jam and melted butter to the egg mixture. Mix well. 4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour and baking soda. Gradually add this dry mixture to the egg mixture, alternating with the milk and vinegar. Mix until smooth. 5. Pour the batter into the greased baking dish and smooth out the top. 6. Bake for about 45 minutes or until the pudding is golden brown and cooked through. It should be springy to the touch. 7. While the pudding is baking, prepare the syrup. In a saucepan, combine the cream, sugar, water, and butter. Stir over medium heat until the butter has melted and the sugar has dissolved. 8. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract. 9. Once the pudding is out of the oven, pour the hot syrup over the hot pudding. Allow it to soak in for a few minutes. 10. Serve the malva pudding warm with a drizzle of extra syrup on top. It pairs well with custard or vanilla ice cream. Enjoy your homemade malva pudding!
