beef mince samosas

Here's a recipe for South African beef mince samosas:

Ingredients:
- 1 cup beef mince - 1 large onion, finely chopped - 2 cloves of garlic, minced - 1 tablespoon vegetable oil - 1 teaspoon ground cumin - 1 teaspoon ground coriander - 1 teaspoon ground turmeric - 1 teaspoon chili powder (adjust to taste) - Salt, to taste - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste - 1 tablespoon lemon juice - 2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander (cilantro) - Spring roll pastry sheets (thawed if frozen) - Vegetable oil, for frying Instructions: 1. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until the onion turns translucent. 2. Add the beef mince and cook until browned, breaking up any lumps with a spatula or fork. 3. Stir in the ground cumin, ground coriander, ground turmeric, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes to let the spices release their flavors. 4. Remove the mixture from the heat and allow it to cool slightly. Stir in the lemon juice and chopped fresh coriander. 5. Take a spring roll pastry sheet and cut it into 3 equal strips. Place about 1-2 tablespoons of the beef mince mixture at one end of each strip. 6. Fold the strip diagonally over the filling to form a triangle, and continue folding the triangle over itself until you reach the end of the strip. Seal the end with a dab of water. 7. Repeat the process with the remaining pastry strips and beef mince mixture. 8. Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan or pot. Carefully place the samosas in the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on a paper towel. 9. Serve the South African beef mince samosas hot with your favorite dipping sauce or chutney. Enjoy your delicious beef mince samosas!
