Classic Buffalo wings

Classic Buffalo wings are a popular American appetizer or snack made with chicken wings that have been deep-fried and coated with a spicy buffalo sauce. The sauce usually consists of hot sauce, butter, vinegar, and other spices. They are typically served with celery sticks and blue cheese or ranch dressing for dipping.

Here's a classic buffalo wings recipe:

Ingredients:

- 2 1/2 pounds chicken wings, separated at the joints, tips discarded

- 1/4 cup unsalted butter

- 1/4 cup hot sauce (such as Frank's RedHot)

- 1 tablespoon white vinegar

- 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

- 1/4 teaspoon paprika

- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

- Salt and pepper, to taste

- Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions:

1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or deep-fryer on medium-high heat until it reaches 375°F.

2. While the oil is heating, mix together the hot sauce, butter, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper in a saucepan over medium heat until the butter is melted and the ingredients are combined.

3. In batches, fry the chicken wings in the hot oil for about 10-12 minutes per batch until they are golden brown and crispy.

4. Remove the wings from the oil and place them in a large bowl.

5. Pour the buffalo sauce over the wings and gently toss until they are coated evenly.

6. Serve hot with celery and carrot sticks, and blue cheese or ranch dressing. Enjoy!
