broccoli chicken casserole

 Here's a simple and delicious recipe for broccoli chicken casserole:



Ingredients:

- 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cooked and shredded

- 4 cups broccoli florets, steamed

- 1 can cream of chicken soup

- 1/2 cup mayonnaise

- 1/2 cup sour cream

- 1/4 cup diced onion

- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs

- 2 tablespoons butter, melted


Instructions:


1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.


2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked and shredded chicken and steamed broccoli.


3. In another mixing bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, mayonnaise, sour cream, diced onion, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.


4. Pour the soup mixture over the chicken and broccoli and mix well.


5. Transfer the mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish and spread it out evenly.


6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the casserole.


7. In a small mixing bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and melted butter and mix well.


8. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the top of the cheese.


9. Bake the casserole for 30-35 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the breadcrumbs are golden brown.
